2024 Advent Initiatives

Updated: Dec 16, 2024

As we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ, SJCA is once again focusing on serving others during this season of Advent. This year, we’re excited to share three impactful ways you and your family can join us in spreading joy and meeting the needs of our community. As Hebrews 13:16 tells us"Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." We invite all SJCA families to participate in these initiatives and give as you are able:

1. SJCA Mitten Tree Collection - COMPLETE

Our Leadership Council is sponsoring the annual Mitten Tree collection. We are gathering new mittens, gloves, scarves, hats, and socks for infants, children, and adults. Your generous donations will be distributed to The Brass School, The Shalom Center, and St. Mark Outreach Center.

Details:

  • What: Adult and children’s socks, hats, mittens, gloves, scarves

  • When: November 27 – December 14
